गोपाल एक परिश्रमी किसान था, उसके तीन बेटे मदन, भोला और राजन खेती करना नहीं चाहते थे।
यह देखकर गोपाल चिंतित हुआ और उसने उन्हें खेत में छिपे खजाने की बात कही।
बेटे उत्साहित होकर खेत को जोतने और खोदने लगे, लेकिन उन्हें कुछ नहीं मिला।
गोपाल ने समझाया कि पूरा खेत जोत दिया गया है, अब उसमें बीज बो दो।
