“Braille” कक्षा 4 की NCERT अंग्रेज़ी पाठ्यपुस्तक Santoor का एक प्रेरणादायक पाठ है। यह पाठ महान आविष्कारक Louis Braille के जीवन और उनके द्वारा विकसित की गई Braille लिपि के बारे में जानकारी देता है। कहानी बताती है कि बचपन में एक दुर्घटना के कारण लुई ब्रेल अपनी दृष्टि खो बैठे, लेकिन उन्होंने कठिन परिस्थितियों के सामने हार नहीं मानी। उन्होंने अपने साहस, दृढ़ निश्चय और निरंतर प्रयास से ऐसी लिपि विकसित की, जिसकी सहायता से दृष्टिबाधित लोग पढ़ और लिख सकते हैं। यह पाठ विद्यार्थियों को कठिनाइयों का सामना करते हुए आगे बढ़ने और दूसरों के जीवन को बेहतर बनाने की प्रेरणा देता है।
